It's the end of the day...and what do you do with your lashes? If you find yourself leaving your falsies unwashed and uncovered on your nightstand, dresser or bathroom counter, this article is for you!

Proper care of your falsies is a must to keep unwanted germs and debris from collecting on your false lashes. Dirty lashes can promote the development of unwanted eye infections and shorten the lash life of your falsies. If you are a daily lash wearer, we recommend cleaning your lashes nightly and developing lash wash days to wash your lashes 2-3 times per week.

Follow our tips to protect the health of your eyes and extend the life of your false lashes.

Step One: Remove Traces of Lash Adhesive from Lash Band

Using a pair of tweezers remove traces of lash adhesive from the back of your lash band.

Step Two: Remove Traces of Mascara or Makeup Debris

To remove mascara or makeup debris in your lashes, dip a disposable spoolie brush or q-tip into makeup remover. Lay your false lashes flat on a paper towel. Using downward strokes, gently run your damp spoolie or q-tip through your false lashes from the base of your lash band to the tip of the lash hair. Apply additional makeup remover to your disposable spoolie or q-tip, as needed.

Repeat cleaning motion until all makeup and debris are removed from your false lashes.

Once finished, if today isn’t a lash wash day, place your lashes on your Quon’s Eyes lash tray. Leave tray uncovered overnight to ensure that your lashes thoroughly dry. Apply your lashes in the morning or put your lash tray in your Quon’s Eyes case for future use.

Step Three: Wash Your Lashes (For Lash Wash Days)

We recommend washing your lashes 2-3 times per week.

All cleansers are not created equally and some can be too harsh for the maintenance of your false lashes. Opt for a gentle cleanser like a two-in-one baby shampoo and conditioner to wash your lashes. Gently work a small drop of cleanser into your lashes using your fingers. Rinse clean with cool water.

When finished, place your lashes on a paper towel. Take another paper towel and gently press down on your false lashes to remove water. Place your lashes on your Quon’s Eyes lash tray.

Leave tray uncovered overnight to ensure that your false lashes thoroughly dry. Apply your lashes in the morning or put your lash tray in your Quon’s Eyes case for future use.

Remember to always store your lashes on your lash tray to help maintain the shape of your false lashes.

We are super excited to share that we are launching an aromatherapy lash lather to gently clean and deeply hydrate your false lashes. Our signature cleanser is gentle enough for daily washes, if desired. Look for our exclusive Lash Lather that features antibacterial properties July 2020!

Until next time beauties, Command the Room, Period!
